Prepare complex federal and state tax returns with minimal supervision. Review small to mid-sized business and individual tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to current tax laws. Provide tax planning strategies and projections for clients and their business operations. Assign tasks to junior staff and oversee day-to-day progress, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Conduct in-depth tax research on complex issues and communicate findings to internal teams and clients. Participate in consulting projects for private and publicly held U.S.-based companies as needed. Stay current with U.S. federal and state tax law changes and compliance updates. Complete required technical training and stay updated with industry best practices.Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. Active CPA license preferred, but not required. Minimum of 5 years of recent U.S. public accounting experience, with a focus on tax. Prior experience must be with a U.S.-based consulting, advisory, or public accounting firm. Strong knowledge of U.S. tax methodologies, compliance, planning, and research. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
