Job Description

We are #hiring for a leading NGO! Role: 1. Impact Measurement Strategy & Framework Development: Design, own, and implement end-to-end impact measurement framework across all programs. Establish rigorous, best-in-class methodologies for impact evaluation, including experimental and quasi-experimental designs. Define a core set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) before work starts on any project, covering impact, behavior and economic leverage. Oversee the establishment of robust pre-implementation baselines for all new projects to ensure credible attribution. 2. Data Collection & Analysis: Lead the systematic collection of post-implementation data from diverse sources, including police e-DAR records, hospital logs, traffic surveys, and on-ground qualitative research. Ensure the highest standards of data quality, integrity, and comparability with baseline data. Conduct and oversee robust quantitative analysis, such as before-after and control-group comparisons, to accurately quantify the change in key indicators and estimate lives saved and crashes avoided. Lead qualitative on-ground research, including verification visits with photo/video evidence for corridor upgrades, to provide rich context to quantitative findings. 3. Reporting, Learning & Strategic Dissemination Translate complex analytical findings into concise, powerful, and easily digestible impact dashboards for the CEO, Board of Directors, and key external stakeholders. Establish a formal process for sharing raw insights and actionable data with the Technical Research, Fundraising, and Policy teams to inform their respective strategies. Author and oversee the production of comprehensive annual and project-specific impact reports that showcase achievements with credibility and transparency. 4. Team Leadership & Capacity Building Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Impact team with expertise in quantitative research, qualitative on-ground research, M&E, and data analysis. Design, oversee, and take full ownership of all technical training and capacity-building initiatives for a broader Technical Team. This includes training on data analysis, research methodologies, and other technical skills. 5. External Partnerships & Validation: Manage relationships with and oversee the work of external evaluation partners to conduct independent MEL studies and third-party validations of impact. Act as primary liaison with academic institutions and research bodies in the field of impact evaluation.
