Experience Required: We are seeking an AutoCAD drafter. This individual should have experience of being a part of the R&D and engineering department and has worked closely with the Production team. Responsibilities will include producing detailed models, assemblies, and production drawings for new and existing products. Expert in AUTOCAD creating parts, assemblies, design tables and drawings. 1 – 2 years of overall Design experience in AUTOCAD and manufacturing. Proficient in AutoCAD creating 2D drawings & SolidWorks. Mechanical background, preferably in sheet metal work, fabrication, machining, piping, blowers, structures. Experienced in sheet metal design Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects. Ability to communicate with CNC Plasma machine operators, engineers. Proficient with MS Office The following criteria are also required: A Trade Qualification (Metal Trades) or Engineering Degree Qualification is preferred Prior exposure to Structural, Mechanical, and Piping work within the resources sector. Desirable Qualities: Patience, Planning, Curious and Creative, Analytical skills, Attention to details, Ability to focus on multiple projects at once and troubleshooting quickly. Main responsibilities include: Create models of current mechanical designs utilizing solid works.
