The role The Social Performance & Impact Reporting Manager  will work to embed client-focused best practices and data-driven decision-making across Opportunity’s network of microfinance partners. Core responsibilities include: Champion Social Impact:  Collaborate with Opportunity’s Global Impact Director and Dia Vikas Relationship Managers to embed social goals and data-driven decision-making across our partner network. Support our Growing Health Finance Program:  Work with our local implementing partners for our ‘Bridging the Healthcare Financing Gap in India’ project to develop policies and a best practices implementation plan for their health finance program as they grow from pilot to scale-up. Drive Best Practices:  Promote the use of global social performance standards and tools (like CERISE SPI5) to ensure consistent, high-quality social reporting across our global microfinance partners. Develop our Impact Reporting:  Responsible for the preparation and publication of the annual Dia Vikas Impact Report, showcasing the outcomes of our investments in microfinance, health, women’s safety, and women-led enterprises. Support strategy development:  Provide intel on developing markets in India, including financial inclusion, SME, affordable housing, WASH, etc. Engage Stakeholders:  Represent Opportunity and Dia Vikas’ social mission to investees, donors, and other key stakeholders. Your skills and attributes Essential: Experience:  5+ years in financial inclusion, impact investing, or development sector roles with a strong focus on monitoring & evaluation (M&E). Expertise:  Familiarity with social performance management (SPM), SDG-aligned reporting, and data analysis. Stakeholder Savvy:  Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders – including senior leadership – for data collection, validation, and reporting. Tech Skills:  Proficiency in Excel (macros, pivot tables), and experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau. Languages:  Fluent in English, and spoken Hindi; reading/writing Hindi is a plus. Beneficial: Experience in impact investing or reporting on social returns. Knowledge of the regulatory landscape and financial inclusion trends in India. Skills in survey design, project management, and cross-cultural collaboration.
