Role Overview We are seeking a Design Director / Head of Design to lead the creative and design function. The role is responsible for overseeing the entire design process and managing the design team to deliver collections for B2C, B2B, retail, and e-commerce. The position requires deep knowledge of the full fashion cycle, from concept and fabric selection to production and launch. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the fashion design team. • Oversee end-to-end design cycle: concept, fabrics, prototypes, fittings, production. • Develop collections for bespoke, B2B, stores, and e-commerce. • Ensure creativity, craftsmanship, and commercial alignment. • Collaborate with production, merchandising, and business teams. • Mentor designers and maintain Tailorworks’ creative standards. Requirements • Fashion Design qualification from a reputed institute. • Minimum 15 years of experience in fashion with 5+ years in a leadership role. • Strong expertise in both men’s and women’s fashion. • Proven track record of successful luxury collections. • Deep knowledge of fabrics, tailoring, and couture techniques. • Strong portfolio showcasing innovation and design leadership.
