Role & responsibilities: Experience in designs, selects, and integrates auxiliary mechanical systems and equipment, such as cooling towers, pumps, pipelines, and wastewater treatment systems, to support the main power generation components (boiler, turbine, generator) and ensure overall plant efficiency and safety Review and develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), WBDs, MaxPT, and HBDs. Prepare or review equipment specifications, data sheets, and general arrangement drawings. Ensure design integration with main plant systems and compliance with project requirements. Design/select components for various BOP systems, including water treatment, cooling towers, pumps, valves, and piping Prepare and review critical documents such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), data sheets, and equipment layouts Work closely with electrical, instrumentation, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with the main power generation units Analyze system performance data, identify potential issues, and develop strategies to optimize efficiency and reliability Performance Guarantee tests for BOP systems Experience detail engineering review, design basis reports, engineering flow sequence and document approvals etc. Overseeing construction activities to ensure they adhere to design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards Skills: Knowledge of common BOP components and their operation, such as AHP, CHP, WTP, MRHS, Compressors, Fuel Oil, DM Plant, Effluent treatment plant, Firefighting, pumps, and Low-Pressure piping, cooling systems. Skill in using design software like AutoCAD Pipe Sizing & Pressure DropTools Strong understanding of thermal power plant processes, including steam cycles and water management
