Role Description: The Sr. Executive Stores is responsible for managing all store operations within the factory — including receiving, storing, and issuing raw materials, consumables, components, and finished goods. The role ensures that all materials are accurately recorded, safely stored, and made available to production as per requirements, while maintaining proper documentation and inventory control systems. Key Responsibilities: Oversee inward and outward movement of all materials, ensuring proper documentation and system entry. Maintain accurate stock records in inventory software. Ensure timely issue of materials to production and other departments based on approved requests. Supervise receiving, inspection, and storage of incoming goods as per quality and safety standards. Implement and monitor FIFO / LIFO and other inventory management practices. Conduct regular stock audits , cycle counts, and reconciliation with system records. Coordinate with purchase, production, and accounts for GRN (Goods Receipt Note), stock adjustments, and vendor returns. Monitor minimum and reorder levels to prevent material shortages or overstocking. Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and housekeeping in the store area. Maintain records for scrap, rejected, or non-conforming materials as per procedure. Lead and train store personnel in inventory control, safety, and documentation practices . Ensure compliance with ISO / 5S and audit requirements . Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Engineering . 1+ years of experience in store or warehouse management within a manufacturing setup. Basic understanding of inventory management systems. Familiar with GRN, MRN, Issue Slips, Delivery Challans , and other material documents. Understanding of manufacturing processes and BOM (Bill of Materials) . Good communication and coordination abilities across departments. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Accuracy of stock records and physical inventory On-time material availability for production – accurate placement of POs Vendor follow-up for material Reduction in stock discrepancies and wastage Compliance with ISO/IATF and audit standards Efficiency of inward/outward processing time Work Schedule: Full-time (Factory-based), 6 days a week.
