We’re hiring a Manager – NPD (Chillers/HVAC) to lead new product development for our advanced cooling solutions portfolio based in Mumbai. In this role, you’ll drive end-to-end design and development of commercial chillers (Air Cooled / Water Cooled) — from concept and engineering validation to final product readiness. The position combines strong technical depth with program management to deliver innovative, compliant, and cost-effective cooling systems for tomorrow’s market. Key Responsibilities: • Lead NPD projects across the chiller product line, ensuring timely execution and cross-functional coordination. • Define and validate component specifications, engineering BOMs, and product costing. • Ensure full compliance with mechanical, thermal, and energy-efficiency standards (ASHRAE, BIS, ECBC, BEE). • Partner with manufacturing and quality teams to translate designs into successful first-time production. • Conduct DFM/DFA/DFS reviews and continuously improve design quality and scalability. • Leverage simulation and rating tools (HTRI, UNILBA, PV-Elite, Compress) for thermal and mechanical design. What You’ll Bring: • 9+ years of experience in chiller or HVAC product design & development. • Strong grasp of compressor systems, oil management, and heat exchanger design. • Proven ability to manage end-to-end product lifecycle and cross-functional teams. • Mechanical engineering qualification (B.Tech/M.Tech).
