Turn Simulations into Impact — Join ISIR.AI as a Coastal ModelerISIR.AI is advancing coastal and marine analytics across Asia, and we’re looking for a driven Coastal Modelerwho’s ready to tackle real-world challenges inhydrodynamic modeling, wave transformation, and metocean data analytics .This is not a routine modeling job — it’s an opportunity towork with advanced MIKE 21 systems , builddata pipelines using Python , and contribute tostrategic marine and energy infrastructure studiesguided by senior experts.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in setting up, calibrating, and validatingMIKE 21 / MIKE Zeromodels forwind, wave, current, and water levelanalysis. Runcyclonic and non-cyclonic simulationsand contribute toreturn period assessmentsfor extreme marine events. Supportsediment transport, wave-current interaction, and coastal evolutionstudies. Handlelarge metocean datasets(ERA5, ECMWF, satellite, and buoy data) for pre- and post-processing. Automate data pipelines, model runs, and result extraction usingPythonand visualization libraries. Collaborate with senior modelers onreport preparation, interpretation of results, and quality validation .Required Skills & ToolsProficiency inMIKE 21 / MIKE Zero(HD, SW, ST, Coupled modules). Strong skills inPython , including data manipulation (pandas, xarray), visualization (matplotlib, seaborn), and automation. Sound understanding ofhydrodynamics, fluid mechanics, and coastal processes . Ability to performreturn period, extreme value, and statistical analysis . Exposure tomesh design, boundary conditions, and validation workflows .Preferred QualificationsM.Tech / M.Sc.inCoastal Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or Marine Science . 3–6 yearsof experience in metocean or coastal modeling roles. Hands-on experience inmodel-data comparison, sensitivity analysis, and result interpretation .
