Job Description

We are hiring a Performance Systems Engineer with strong expertise in engine performance , thermodynamic modeling , and aero-thermal systems . This role is central to the design, analysis, and validation of gas turbine performance , supporting both new product development and in-service engine support. Key Responsibilities: Perform engine performance analysis using thermodynamic models and aero-thermal simulations . Integrate sub-system predictions into system-level performance models for propulsion systems. Support and analyze engine performance verification tests , including test planning, execution, and reporting. Maintain and develop performance modeling tools , data sets , and simulation environments . Collaborate with cross-functional teams including controls , operability , systems , and hardware design to solve technical challenges. Deliver technical packages aligned with project milestones, cost, and quality requirements. Provide in-service engine support , including diagnostics and performance troubleshooting. Promote continuous improvement in performance engineering tools, methods, and processes. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders. Technical Skills Required: Strong experience in thermodynamic cycle modeling , engine performance prediction , and aero-thermal analysis . Familiarity with tools such as NPSS , Python , MATLAB , or similar for performance modeling and data analytics. Understanding of gas turbine physics , system operability , and transient behavior . Experience with engine testing , data acquisition , and performance validation . Knowledge of system engineering principles , robust design , and requirements management . Excellent communication and documentation skills. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical , Aerospace , or Thermal Engineering . 3–10 years of experience in engine performance engineering , thermodynamic modeling , or aero systems . Experience in gas turbine performance , propulsion systems , or aerospace product development is preferred.
