About The OpportunityWe operate in the building construction and MEP engineering sector delivering commercial, residential and institutional electrical systems for mid-to-large projects across India. We design, deploy and commission robust power distribution, lighting, emergency power and low-voltage systems that meet Indian and international standards. This is an on-site senior engineering role delivering end-to-end electrical design and execution for fast-paced construction projects. Primary Title:Senior Electrical Engineer - Building Services (On-site, India) Role & Responsibilities Lead electrical engineering design for building projects: develop single-line diagrams, load calculations, cable sizing, lighting layouts and equipment schedules for LV/HV distribution, emergency power (DG/UPS) and earthing systems. Prepare detailed drawings (AutoCAD/Revit MEP), perform protection coordination, short-circuit and load-flow studies using ETAP/SKM; specify switchgear, transformers, panels and lighting fixtures. Create BOQs, MTOs and tender specifications; evaluate vendor bids, supervise procurement and ensure material compliance with IS/NBC/IEC standards. Manage on-site execution, supervise contractors, perform quality inspections, and lead testing & commissioning activities (SAT/FAT) to ensure handover-ready systems. Coordinate cross-discipline engineering (civil, HVAC, fire, architectural) and resolve technical RFI/change orders while controlling schedule and cost impacts. Coach and mentor junior engineers, enforce QA/QC and HSE practices, and maintain project documentation and as-built records. Skills & QualificationsMust-Have B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of progressive experience in building construction/MEP electrical design and site execution (on-site India projects). Hands-on with AutoCAD and Revit MEP; experienced in ETAP/SKM for protection coordination, DIALux for lighting and familiar with IS/NBC/IEC standards and statutory approvals. Proven track record in preparing BOQs/tender documents, managing vendors, commissioning DG/UPS/ATS systems and enforcing HSE & quality compliance on site. Preferred Exposure to solar PV integration, BMS/SCADA interfaces, and experience with HT/LT systems on large-scale projects. Professional certifications (PMP, Chartered Engineer, or relevant vendor certifications) and experience with cost-estimation tools and contract management. Strong leadership experience leading multi-disciplinary MEP teams and improving engineering-to-field workflows.
