We are now seeking a skilled Photographer for Kottayam to join our newsroom and contribute to powerful visual storytelling. Key Responsibilities: Capture high-quality photographs for news stories, features, and events. Work closely with editorial and reporting teams to visually represent news coverage. Edit and process images to meet publication standards and deadlines. Maintain photography equipment and ensure readiness for assignments. Cover both planned assignments and urgent, breaking-news situations. Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience as a professional photographer, preferably in print media/journalism. Strong portfolio demonstrating news/event photography. Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Light room). Ability to work under tight deadlines and in dynamic field environments. Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with reporters and editors. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings when required. Education: Degree/Diploma in Photography, Visual Communication, Mass Communication, or a related field preferred.
