The Assistant Store Manager will support the daily operations of the retail store by assisting customers, managing stock, maintaining displays, and ensuring smooth store functioning. The role requires good communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first attitude. Key Responsibilities Customer Service Greet customers and assist them in finding products. Provide product knowledge, features, and benefits to help customers make purchase decisions. Handle customer queries and escalate issues to the Store Manager when needed. Support in billing and packaging of items. Store Operations Assist in daily opening and closing of the store. Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves, counters, and displays. Ensure stock is properly tagged, labeled, and displayed as per visual merchandising guidelines. Assist in store promotions, offers, and seasonal displays. Inventory & Stock Management Receive, check, and stock incoming goods. Monitor stock levels and inform the manager about shortages or fast-moving items. Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies. Help in arranging goods in the warehouse/back store. Team Support Work closely with the Store Manager and other team members to achieve sales targets. Support in preparing reports, sales data, and stock updates.
