Job Description – Floor In-Charge Designation: Floor In-ChargeExperience: 3 to 5 Years (Hands-on experience in shop floor operations)Qualification: ITI / Diploma / BE / B.TECH Electrical ENGINEER with experience in production or site operations Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Floor In-Charge to oversee daily operations at the production or site floor. The candidate should have hands-on experience in managing teams, maintaining production flow, and ensuring quality standards. Good knowledge of tools like Excel, Word, and AutoCAD for reporting, planning, and documentation is essential. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage daily floor activities, ensuring smooth workflow and productivity. Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, and workers to ensure targets are met efficiently. Monitor production, quality control, safety, and maintenance activities on the floor. Maintain work schedules, manpower allocation, and job assignments. Prepare reports, attendance sheets, progress updates, and inventories using Excel and Word. Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings to understand job layouts and measurements. Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company policies. Identify and resolve issues related to production delays, machine downtime, or manpower gaps. Support training and development of floor staff to enhance their skills and efficiency. Communicate with higher management regarding floor performance and challenges. Maintain discipline and foster a positive and productive work environment. Skills Required: Hands-on experience in managing shop floor or site operations. Good knowledge of production planning, workflow management, and manpower coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and AutoCAD for reporting and documentation. Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions. Problem-solving mindset and quick decision-making ability. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Awareness of safety protocols and quality standards. Preferred Qualification: Experience in manufacturing, construction, or engineering projects. Exposure to production scheduling and project coordination.
