Role & responsibilities: Execute routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance of steam/gas turbines and auxiliaries (governing system, lubrication system, vacuum system, etc.). Planning and execution in maintenance of equipments in TG and Auxiliary for daily activities. Planning and execution in annual overhauling and capital overhauling of turbine and generator. Preparation of IMS documents and 5 S' documents. Spares planning (routine spares + AOH/COH spares + critical spares). Troubleshooting & Breakdown Handling. Conduct root cause analysis for turbine faults, trips, or abnormal behavior. Ensure compliance with safety standards, OEM guidelines and company SOPS. Functional Competencies: Knowledge in SAP Module. Knowledge in maintenance module (PM / Defects / equipment breakdown / Vibration analysis and equipment overhauling. Familiarity with rotor dynamics, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics as they apply to turbines. Ability to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot turbine-related issues like: High vibrations, Bearing failures, Efficiency drops. Hands-on experience in disassembly and reassembly of turbines. Familiarity with maintenance Of turbine auxiliaries such as: Lube oil systems, Seal oil systems, Governing systems, Vacuum systems and Hydraulic actuators. Preferred candidate profile B.Tech / M.Tech Mechanical with 8 Years Experience in Power Plant. Thermal power plant exposure (BHEL Turbine is mandatory). Behavioral & Management Competencies: Sincere and hardworking. Takes ownership of actions and turbine maintenance outcomes. Delegates tasks well: resolves team issues effectively.
