Job Title: Production Assistant Location: Attur Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: Fresher or 1 year experience. Education: Diploma in Agriculture or Horticulture, Mechanic, Automobile, Agri technology and any degree A dedicated and proactive Production Assistant to oversee seed production activities within a designated territory. The ideal candidate will work closely with farmers, ensure adherence to agricultural best practices, and manage crop lifecycle from land preparation to harvest and dispatch. Key Responsibilities Measure farms and advise on land preparation Distribute seeds and support sowing activities Monitor crop growth, pesticide application, and report issues Coordinate harvest, packing, and dispatch to processing units Maintain farmer and crop records Ensure safety compliance and train laborers on PPE usage Skills & Qualifications Basic knowledge of crop production techniques. Familiarity with pest and disease management practices. Ability to conduct quality checks and ensure SOP compliance Strong observation and reporting skills Effective communication and listening abilities Willingness to work in rural field conditions Preferred Attributes Exposure to seed production or farm extension activities Knowledge of local agricultural practices and seasonal crop calendars Ability to work independently and as part of a team Eagerness to learn and adapt to new farming technologies Basic understanding of GPS or field mapping tools (preferred but not mandatory) Welfare activities Accommodation free & subsidized food.
