About the Role : We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Specialist with strong experience in government projects and RFP processes. The ideal candidate will be adept at conducting security assessments, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting incident response activities. Responsibilities : Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing for IT systems and networks. Analyze logs, network traffic, and endpoint telemetry to detect and respond to threats. Assist in incident response, forensic investigations, and post-incident reporting. Advise clients on compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and other regulatory frameworks. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and technical controls. Support risk assessments and business impact analyses. Prepare technical documentation, audit reports, and executive-level summaries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet RFP requirements for government clients. Required Qualifications & Skills : Bachelors degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in information security, preferably in government projects with RFP exposure. Relevant certifications such as CISA, CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer (preferred). Hands-on experience with security assessments, incident response, and compliance audits. Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, and cybersecurity best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Preferred Skills : Experience with SIEM tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security monitoring platforms. Familiarity with forensic tools and methodologies. Strong documentation and presentation skills. Compensation - 12 to 16 Lacs plus accommodation
