Job Description: We are looking for a Litigation & Recovery Manager to handle legal and recovery cases for secured business loan and SME portfolios. The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end recovery processes through legal actions, particularly under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, and ensuring effective portfolio resolution. Key Responsibilities: Manage and monitor litigation and recovery cases for the secured business loan/SME portfolio. Initiate and follow up on legal proceedings under NI Act Section 138 and other applicable recovery laws. Coordinate with empaneled advocates, law firms, and internal teams to ensure timely filing and closure of cases. Track pending cases and ensure proper documentation, MIS reporting, and compliance with company policies. Conduct regular reviews of delinquent accounts and recommend suitable recovery/legal actions. Support field recovery teams and guide them on appropriate legal and recovery strategies. Attend court hearings and liaise with local authorities as required. Required Skills and Qualifications: Graduate / LLB preferred. Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in litigation and recovery, preferably in NBFC or banking sector. Good knowledge of NI Act 138, SARFAESI, Arbitration, and related recovery laws. Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills. Proficiency in MS Office and case tracking MIS.
