The ideal candidate should come from a non-ferrous industry background with strong exposure to acid handling safety and large-scale mechanical systems. Roles & Responsibilities: Coordinate with internal Mechanical Department to develop & implement Preventive, Predictive & Corrective Maintenance plans. Hands-on experience with Fans, Blowers, Conveyors, Overhead Cranes, Furnaces, and machine alignment. Lead a team of technicians: hiring, training, task assignment, and performance evaluation. Manage maintenance budget and ensure optimal cost control and resource utilization. Track and improve KPIs such as equipment downtime, reliability, and maintenance costs. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement effective corrective measures. Ensure safety compliance, including permits and SOPs, especially in acid-handling operations. Plan and manage vendor relationships for timely and cost-effective service. Train the team on latest technologies, safety practices, and maintenance methods. Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders for seamless operations. Candidate Profile: Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Chemical Engineering 12–15 years (B.E.) of relevant maintenance experience in non-ferrous or similar heavy industry. Strong leadership skills with hands-on technical knowledge. Proven track record in equipment maintenance, team management, and safety compliance.
