Location: Noida Company: TelebortiX Innovations Pvt. Ltd. About TelebortiX Innovations TelebortiX Innovations Pvt. Ltd. is a deep-tech aerospace startup pioneering the next generation of high-altitude, long-range, heavy-payload Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for defense, industrial logistics, and remote operations. Our indigenous platforms — the BA-150 and BA-75 — combine hybrid propulsion, advanced autonomy, and modular design to enable logistics and reconnaissance missions in extreme and GPS-denied environments. With full-stack in-house development across navigation, controls, perception, and mission autonomy , TelebortiX is among the few companies globally capable of delivering scalable, long-endurance UAV platforms. We are backed by top-tier defense collaborators and innovation programs, and are rapidly scaling our engineering and flight operations teams. Role Overview We are seeking a Robotics Engineer – UAV System Integration who can take ownership of end-to-end UAV assembly, integration, and testing . The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically strong across mechanical, electronics, and controls domains , and has demonstrable experience in building and flying drones from scratch . This position involves close collaboration with our avionics, software, and simulation teams to realize new UAV architectures, test new sub-systems, and validate integrated system performance. Key Responsibilities Lead system-level integration of UAVs — integrating propulsion, control, power, and sensor subsystems. Assemble and commission airframes, propulsion kits, and flight control systems , ensuring compatibility across electrical and mechanical interfaces. Implement and tune flight control algorithms , coordinate with software teams to deploy and validate control loops (PID, model-based, or deep learning controllers). Support hardware-in-loop (HIL) and software-in-loop (SIL) testing environments (ROS2, PX4, Gazebo/Unreal). Collaborate in sensor integration (IMU, GPS, LiDAR, cameras, radar) and assist in developing sensor fusion frameworks. Conduct ground and flight testing , capture telemetry data, and perform post-flight analysis for tuning and debugging. Participate in prototype design reviews , BOM optimization, and validation of mechanical and electronic subsystems. Maintain documentation of integration workflows, wiring harnesses, firmware versions, and calibration procedures. Qualifications & Skills Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics, or Aerospace Engineering.Experie strong>nce: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in UAV or robotics system development and integration. Proven ability to build drones from scratch and perform autonomous or semi-autonomous flight tests. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical structures , aerodynamics , and powertrain components . Proficiency in electrical and communication systems — ESCs, BLDCs, sensors, telemetry, and CAN/UART interfaces. Familiarity with PX4/Ardupilot , ROS2 , Python/C++ , and control algorithm tuning . Exposure to CAD tools (SolidWorks / Fusion 360) and simulation frameworks (Gazebo / Unreal Engine / AirSim) . Understanding of control theory , sensor fusion , and embedded system integration . Soft Skills: Highly hands-on, self-driven, and detail-oriented. Strong documentation, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Startup mindset — comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments. What We Offer Opportunity to work on cutting-edge UAV systems shaping the future of logistics and defense. Exposure to end-to-end UAV development — from prototype to flight validation. Dynamic team environment with direct mentorship from experts in autonomous robotics and aerospace. Competitive compensation with performance-linked growth opportunities. Preferred Tools / IDEs PX4, QGroundControl, ROS2, Gazebo, Unreal Engine (AirSim) Python, C++, MATLAB/Simulink SolidWorks, Fusion 360, KiCAD, Altium Designer Linux (Ubuntu) development environmen
