Job Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Bartender role located in Bengaluru. The Senior Bartender will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks, creating beverage menus, managing bar stock, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position also includes supervising and training junior bartenders, handling cash transactions, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar area, and providing excellent customer service. Roles and Responsibility : Serving Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Drinks: Bartenders prepare and serve drinks based on customer orders, ensuring accuracy and quality. Customer Service: Engaging with customers, providing excellent service, and ensuring they have a good experience. This includes making recommendations and handling special requests. Maintaining Cleanliness: Bartenders are responsible for keeping the bar area clean and organized. This includes wiping down counters, cleaning glassware, and ensuring the bar area is stocked with supplies. Mixing Drinks: Bartenders should know how to mix a variety of cocktails and drinks, including classic and signature drinks, using appropriate techniques. Managing Inventory: Keeping track of stock levels for spirits, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies. Bartenders may need to place orders or report low stock. Handling Cash and Payments: Bartenders often handle cash, process credit card payments, and may be responsible for opening and closing the register. Ensuring Customer Safety: Monitoring customer behavior to prevent over-intoxication and managing situations where guests need assistance. Bartenders may need to refuse service to customers who have had too much to drink. Adhering to Legal Requirements: Ensuring compliance with local laws regarding the sale and consumption of alcohol, including checking IDs to verify legal drinking age. Setting Up the Bar: Bartenders prepare for the night by setting up the bar, arranging supplies, and ensuring all equipment is working correctly. Handling Special Events: If working in a venue that hosts events, bartenders may be responsible for serving drinks at private parties, weddings, or corporate events. Qualifications Expertise in Bartending and Food & Beverage services Strong Customer Service and Communication skills Experience in Cash Handling Ability to supervise, manage, and train junior staff Excellent time management and organization skills Relevant certifications in bartending or hospitality are a plus Prior experience in a similar role preferred
