Job Title: Lab Chemist (Ethanol Plant) Location: Gola, Jharkhand Salary: Up to ₹3 LPA Experience Required: Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role Industry Exposure: Ethanol manufacturing experience is mandatory Educational Background: Degree in Chemistry (B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry) Job Purpose: The Lab Chemist will be responsible for conducting chemical analyses, supporting quality control processes, and maintaining accurate laboratory records to ensure smooth production operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and advanced chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain accurate records of test results and prepare reports for production and quality assurance teams. Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment. Assist in troubleshooting production or quality issues based on lab findings. Collaborate with team members and support senior lab staff in continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications and Experience: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years of laboratory experience, preferably in the ethanol or chemical industry. Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments and analytical techniques. Knowledge of quality control standards and laboratory documentation practices. Skills and Competencies: Attention to detail and accuracy in testing and reporting. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Basic knowledge of lab safety and chemical handling procedures.
