We are in the process of expanding in 2 phases (First phase is 1.5 MT to 3 MT) Brown field project and from 3 MT to 10 MT Green Field Project, to ensure Vedanta's strong footprint in steel business. Role: Assistant Shift In-charge Blast Furnace Experience: Min 5 Years Grade: M5/M6 Location: Bokaro Qualification: B.E/B. Tech in Metallurgy Roles & Responsibilities: Ensure environment, health, and safety at workplace with zero harm, zero discharge and zero waste Process monitoring, ensure to achieve shift production targets & grade wise production Reduction in operational down time. Identifying new activities for HIRA & Aspect / Impact. Daily shift work management, safety & environment initiative and ensuring safe working conditions. Trouble shooting Skills for process variation. Co-ordination with Engineers & other shift personnel for smooth functioning of blast furnaces. Ensuring good housekeeping & safe working environment. Desired attributes Knowledge in Dry GCP/HBS Knowledge in PCM operation & Loco /Ladle movement Knowledge on corrective actions for parameters deviations. Knowledge of reduction of wastage of consumable.
