Job Summary: We are looking for a Data Entry Operator with experience in jewellery industry software to manage and maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, stock movement, customer data, and sales transactions. The ideal candidate must be proficient in using jewellery-specific software like Ornate, GEMS, Brinks, Jewel ERP, or similar platforms, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Enter, update, and maintain data related to inventory, stock movement, billing, and customer orders in jewellery software. Create product listings with correct SKU codes, weights, karat details, stone information, and pricing. Generate invoices, quotations, order slips, and barcodes through the system. Cross-check and verify data for accuracy and completeness before and after entry. Maintain records for raw materials, finished goods, and daily sales. Coordinate with the sales, inventory, and production departments to ensure data consistency. Regularly back up data and ensure confidentiality and security of records. Prepare system-generated reports (stock, sales, aging inventory, etc.) as required by management. Assist in system audits, stock reconciliations, and other administrative tasks. Required Skills: Proficiency in Jewellery Management Software such as: Ornate, Jewel ERP, GEMS, Brinks, E-Jwell, etc. Strong knowledge of jewellery terminology karat, hallmark, types of stones, metal weights, etc. Fast and accurate typing with attention to detail. Good knowledge of Excel and basic computer operations. Organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data securely. Preferred Qualifications: 13 years of experience in a data entry or administrative role within the jewellery industry. High school diploma or graduate in commerce/administration preferred. Experience with POS systems or billing software in a jewellery showroom is a plus. Knowledge of GST and basic accounting Preferred candidate profile
