Job Description

At Agriplast North , we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Backend Sales Executive to support the sales team by managing customer inquiries, scheduling meetings, and processing orders efficiently. The role involves compiling and delegating sales leads, maintaining sales data, tracking performance indicators, and preparing reports. Responsibilities include recording sales trends, coordinating with account managers and retailers/wholesalers, and ensuring timely follow-ups for customer satisfaction. The candidate will also handle administrative tasks, data entry, and sales documentation while independently managing customer interactions and reporting unusual activities to supervisors. Department : Sales Reporting To Team Lead. Base Location : Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India Minimum Work Experience : 1 TO 2+ years of agriculture industry would be preferred. Graduation and Experience in Polyhouse / Protected cultivation would be preferred. Minimum Education Required    : Graduate/Post Graduate in Agriculture or a related field . Certification/Training Preferred : Polyhouse Construction & Irrigation Systems as well as Agronomy. No. of Vacancy : 2 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Answering customer inquiries, scheduling meetings, and sales appointments, and following up with customers about their order status. Compiling a daily list of sales leads, delegating leads to the sales department, and providing sales data and guides to the sales department. Developing and monitoring performance indicators for sales and staff members, managing sales tracking tools, and compiling reports. Recording sales trends and liaising with account managers to develop sales strategies. Creating and processing orders in a timely manner, processing requests for rush orders, and reviewing pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction. Performing data entry tasks for sales figures, metrics, and other relevant information and maintaining an organized and accessible filing system. Handling administrative duties for the company and its executives and management teams. Scheduling customer meetings and conferences. Reporting any unusual activity to your supervisors. Coordinate With Managing Retailers / wholesalers inquiries. Candidate must be able to independently handle customer-oriented interaction/meetings. Must possess strong communication skills-written and verbal and should be proficient in English. Computer proficiency is a MUST. Knowledge of Excel is a big plus. FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:- Sales Expertise – Ability to handle Sales Enquiries. Agronomy Knowledge – Familiarity with Agronomy as well as Sales. Strong Communication Skills – Ability to coordinate between teams, suppliers, and clients. Problem-Solving & Decision Making – Quick and effective resolution of Sales related challenges. Team Work -- Skilled ,Smart and a team player to resolve challenges.
