Job DescriptionSenior Quality EngineerRoles & ResponsibilitiesMust-Have Expertise:- Strong experience in testing with a sound understanding of testing processes and methodologies. - Solid knowledge of UI testing concepts, and practical exposure to functional, regression, system integration, and non-functional testing. - Proficiency in test case design, test execution, defect management, and tracking. - Familiarity with JIRA or similar defect tracking and project management tools. - Good debugging and analytical skills to investigate issues and perform root cause analysis. - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multiple teams and functions. - Basic scripting skills using Python or any other scripting language (Shell Script, JavaScript, etc.) to support testing tasks. - Basic knowledge of writing and executing SQL queries for validations (preferably on PostgreSQL, YugabyteDB, or similar relational databases). - Exposure to UI Automation Tools like SeleniumGood-to-Have Expertise:- Understanding of open-source technologies including, Kafka, HBase, Solr, and ElasticSearch. - Experience working in Linux environments for system-level validations and troubleshooting. - Awareness of Agile methodologies - Understanding of Kubernetes environments and deployment basics (good to have for supporting system validations).
