Job Title: Salesforce Test Engineer Job Type:Full-time Experience:7+ Years Job Description: We are seeking an experiencedSenior Salesforce QA Testerwith over 7 years of hands-on experience inSalesforce testingand strong proficiency withJIRAandZephyrfor test management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, ensuring the quality and functionality of Salesforce implementations, and contributing to the overall success of the QA process.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test cases for Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.) Performfunctional ,regression ,integration , andUATtesting across Salesforce platforms and integrated systems. Validate and testcustomizations ,workflows ,Apex classes ,Visualforce pages ,Lightning components , andSalesforce APIs . Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. UtilizeJIRAfor defect tracking, requirement mapping, and Agile task management. UseZephyr for JIRA(or other test management tools) to plan, manage, and report test cycles. Develop automated test scripts (if applicable) using tools like Selenium, Provar, or TestComplete (optional but preferred). Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Document test results, identify bugs, and drive resolutions with the development team.Required Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience inQuality AssuranceorSoftware Testing , with at least 3–5 years inSalesforce Testing . Strong understanding ofSalesforce architecture , data model, and platform capabilities. Hands-on experience withJIRAandZephyr(or similar test management tools like TestRail or QTest). Experience inAgile/Scrumenvironments. Proficient in writing complex test scenarios, includingnegative and edge case testing . Ability to performdata validationusing SOQL and Salesforce Workbench or Developer Console. Good understanding ofSalesforce deployments ,sandboxes , andrelease management . Familiarity withAPEX testingandcode coveragerequirements (not mandatory but beneficial). Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, etc.) Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Provar). Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Git. Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
