Collaborate with functional business leads and technology partners to provide a high level of customer serviceActively participate in all Agile ceremonies as part of the Scrum TeamWork with project team to define and break down requirementsWork with team members, management, and product owner to ensure projects are completed to standardImplement rapid updates to fulfill changing business and marketing requirementsCreating technical documentation – designing architecture, flow diagrams, documenting technical implementation approaches and pseudocodeCreate and maintain macro tech designsIdentify risks and form contingency plans as soon as possibleWork in a team environment in supporting the team goals, and improving development and engineering practicesDeliver across the entire software life cycle – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to production, and supportCollaborate with other development teams (API, Android, Web) on architectural vision and roadmapContinuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiencyMUST HAVE SKILLS:3-6 years of Java/J2EE developmentExperience in application development utilizing Java, Spring, SQL, Log4j, Web Services (SOAP/XML/REST/JSON), and Oracle/H2 databases is required.Experience with Spring Boot, Test Driven Development, and CI/CD is required.Cross team collaboration is required.DESIRED SKILLS:Experience with Kafka integrations is a plus.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Azure is a plus.Experience with Reactive programming is a plus.Experience with Oracle POS (point of sale) is a plus.Experience with Android SDK is a plus.
