Primary Responsibilities – Quality AssuranceQuality Management System (QMS) ImplementationDevelop, implement, and maintain QMS in compliance with ISO 9001 and industry-specific standards.Ensure documentation of SOPs, work instructions, and quality manuals.Incoming Material InspectionConduct quality checks on raw materials and components (e.g., filters, membranes, pumps) to ensure they meet specifications.Coordinate with suppliers for corrective actions on non-conforming materials.In-Process Quality ControlMonitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.Perform in-line inspections and audits to detect and correct deviations in real-time.Final Product Inspection & TestingOversee final product testing for performance, durability, and compliance with regulatory standards.Approve or reject finished goods based on inspection results.Root Cause Analysis & CAPAInvestigate customer complaints and internal quality issues using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis.Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurrence.Continuous Improvement InitiativesLead Lean Six Sigma projects to reduce defects, improve process efficiency, and enhance product quality.Use tools like FMEA, Control Charts, and Process Mapping.Training & AwarenessConduct training sessions for production and QA teams on quality standards, tools, and best practices.Promote a culture of quality across departments.Audit ManagementPrepare for and participate in internal, customer, and third-party audits.Ensure timely closure of audit non-conformities.Desired Qualifications, Experience & CompetenciesDesired QualificationsB. Tech in Electrical/MechanicalDesired Experience10-15 Year Experience Water purifier experience is mandatory.Knowledge & SkillsSix Sigma Green Belt Minimum, ISO 9001 :2015, Sustainability, BIS.
