Job Title

We are looking for a Consulting Engineer to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will work closely with customers to ensure successful implementation of our distributed database solutions. You will provide architectural guidance, lead solution design and deployment, and ensure that our systems deliver maximum performance, scalability, and reliability.This is a post-sales technical consulting position that requires strong delivery capabilities, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to build trusted relationships with customer engineering and operations teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead customer engagements to design and deploy distributed database solutions.Conduct architecture reviews, capacity planning, and performance optimization.Build proof-of-concepts, pilots, and production-grade implementations.Mentor customer teams on best practices, operations, and performance tuning.Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share customer insights and influence product roadmap.Deliver technical workshops, training programs, and knowledge transfer sessions.Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across IT, architecture, and operations.Required QualificationsStrong customer-facing communication and consulting skills.Solid understanding of distributed systems, including caching, in-memory computing, or data grids.Experience with enterprise architectures and Linux-based environments.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Go, C++, Python).Prior experience supporting or delivering mission-critical, highly available systems in domains like finance, telecom, or eCommerce.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Apache Ignite, Redis, Hazelcast, Cassandra, or similar technologies.Knowledge of SQL, streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink, Pulsar), and data integration tools.Background in performance benchmarking and large-scale optimization.Ability to create reusable consulting materials (scripts, templates, guides).Interest in mentoring and enabling customer engineering teams.Additional DetailsWillingness to travel up to 30% for customer engagements, workshops, and events.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a startup mindset.Job locations: Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, and Mumbai.Please write to amit.n@ to get connected!
