Position Summary:The Operations Head will be responsible for the smooth, disciplined, and service-driven functioning of the hospital. This role demands mature leadership to ensure strong coordination between clinical and non-clinical teams, uphold high patient service standards, and support the hospital’s business and growth goals.It calls for a hands-on leader who can manage complexity calmly, drive accountability across teams, and align daily operations with the hospital’s vision of excellence and trust.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day hospital operations across OPD, IPD, diagnostics, and emergencyEnsure high standards of patient care, timely services, and courteous staff behaviourDrive internal conversions and support revenue growth in coordination with medical teamsMaintain discipline, SOP adherence, and operational efficiency across all unitsStrengthen coordination between clinical and non-clinical functions for seamless deliveryMonitor resource utilization, control wastage, and support cost-effective operationsSupport leadership in execution of business plans and special programsEnsure full compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory normsKey Performance IndicatorsEnsuring patient satisfaction levels.Overseeing bed occupancy and effective utilization.Enhancing operational efficiency.Monitoring internal customer satisfaction levels.Ensuring compliance to quality systems.Ensuring adherence to Standards Operating Procedures.Candidate Profile:Master’s in Hospital/Healthcare Administration or equivalent from a reputed institutionMinimum 10–15 years of experience in operations leadership in large tertiary care hospitalsDemonstrated ability to work with clinicians, manage complexity, and lead teams with clarity and maturityStrong understanding of hospital business drivers, service levers, and institutional standardsSteady, grounded, and hands-on leadership style with the ability to anticipate and act.
