Job Description:- Managing the complete lifecycle of book projects — from manuscript receipt to final print and/or digital release. - Creating and maintaining project timelines, ensuring all editorial, design, production, and marketing tasks are completed on schedule. - Coordinating with cross-functional teams (editorial, design, production, marketing, sales) to ensure smooth workflow and timely decision-making. - Serving as the primary point of contact for authors, freelancers, illustrators, and external vendors. - Overseeing editorial processes, including editing, proofreading, copyediting, and quality reviews. - Tracking design and typesetting stages, ensuring layouts, illustrations, and cover designs meet brand and quality standards. - Managing vendor interactions, including printers, translators, typesetters, and other service providers. - Monitoring project budgets, invoices, and cost approvals. - Reviewing proofs and coordinating correction cycles until files are approved for printing or digital conversion. - Identifying risks and bottlenecks, proposing solutions, and ensuring projects stay on track. - Ensuring compliance with publishing standards, file formats, style guides, and production specifications. - Maintaining accurate project documentation, reports, and tracking sheets. - Supporting the marketing team with assets, metadata, schedules, and promotional timelines. - Driving process improvements to enhance efficiency across the publishing workflow.Salary: upto 250K/year.
