About the Role We are seeking an experienced Radiation Safety Officer to ensure radiation safety protocols are implemented across all radiology equipment manufacturing, testing, and validation areas. You will conduct thorough radiation surveys, leakage testing, and shielding verification to guarantee workplace and personnel safety, maintaining detailed records of radiation exposure and adhering to prescribed AERB safety limits. AERB licensing for manufacturing, installation, and servicing of X-Ray, C-Arm, DR, and CT systems is also a critical part of your role. Additionally, you will prepare, maintain, and submit documentation required for AERB, NABL, and ISO 13485 compliance, ensuring seamless communication with regulatory authorities. As the designated Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), you will provide training and guidance to employees on radiation safety practices and emergency preparedness, investigating and reporting any incidents involving radiation exposure or non-compliance. Maintaining up-to-date records of radiation monitoring, calibration, and licensing documentation is crucial to your success in this role. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiation physics, protection principles, and safety standards, as well as excellent knowledge of AERB regulatory processes and documentation. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and documentation systems is highly desirable.
