The ideal candidate will be compassionate, approachable, and skilled in student counselling, behaviour intervention, and school wellness programs. Responsibilities Provide individual and group counselling sessions to support students’ emotional and behavioural needs. Address concerns such as stress, anxiety, peer issues, academic pressure, and social–emotional challenges. Conduct age-appropriate life skills, value education, and wellness sessions. Work closely with teachers and parents to create intervention strategies for students requiring support. Maintain confidential records, progress notes, and assessments. Identify students needing specialised intervention and collaborate with external professionals when required. Assist with behavioural management plans and promote a positive, inclusive school climate. Support child protection guidelines and ensure student safety and well-being. Participate in school events, teacher meetings, and parent orientation programs.Qualifications Master’s degree inPsychology / Counselling Psychology / Child Psychology. Certification in counselling or child guidance is an advantage. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in school counselling (preferred). Strong understanding of child and adolescent development. Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with students.
