Position:Chief of Staff – Group Operations Location:Remote (India) Work Hours:Must overlap with Australian time (AEST) Employment Type:Full-Time About us - We are a fast-growing Australian group operating acrosscar rentals, insurance/claims processing, automotive repairs, and fleet management . We are now hiring ahighly capable, intelligent, and experienced Chief of Staff – Group Operationsto work directly with the Business Owner and manage all daily operations across multiple companies. This is ahigh-responsibility, leadership rolefor someone who can operate independently, manage staff, solve problems, and ensure all businesses run smoothly without constant supervision.ABOUT THE ROLE -As the Chief of Staff – Group Operations, you are responsible for: Running operational activities across all businesses Leading teams (rentals, claims, workshop, admin) Managing staff performance & KPIs Overseeing claims, fleet operations, and workshop work Monitoring cashflow, expenses, vendor invoices, bookings, and repair costs Handling escalations, negotiations, and daily challenges Implementing systems, processes, and SOPs Providing daily and weekly reporting directly to the owner Ensuring operational efficiency, discipline, and accountability This is a role for someone who can think like anoperator , act like amanager , and manage the business like asecond owner .KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -Operations & Business OversightManage day-to-day operations for rentals, claims, repairs, and workshop activities Ensure timely customer service, booking fulfilment, and fleet utilisation Oversee claims handling and insurer communication Monitor and review workshop jobs, parts, and repair quality Leadership & Team ManagementLead internal teams in India & Australia Monitor KPIs, task completion, and staff discipline Resolve staffing issues, performance gaps, and operational bottlenecks Financial & ReportingReview daily performance numbers, pending claims, bookings and expenses Approve invoices, workshop bills, and supplier payments Prepare and submit reports directly to the business owner Process ImprovementBuild and implement SOPs across rentals, claims, workshop Improve efficiencies and reduce operational costs Introduce new systems, tools, and workflow automation Strategic SupportAttend management meetings Act as the bridge between the owner and teams Take responsibility for sensitive and confidential mattersREQUIREMENTSExperience5+ years in operations management Automotive, fleet, insurance, logistics, or service industry experience preferred Must have managed teams of 10+ people Experience in a fast-paced environment SkillsExceptional English (written & spoken) Strong leadership and decision-making Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Ability to run multiple business units at once Financial understanding (KPIs, budgets, expenses) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital workflow Personal QualitiesHighly responsible & mature Loyal and trustworthy Proactive and self-driven Ownership mindset Ability to act independentlyHOW TO APPLY -Please submit yourresumealong with ashort cover letterexplaining: Your operational experience.
