The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake configuration, performance tuning, security, monitoring, and issue resolution. The administrator will ensure platform reliability, availability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency while supporting cross-functional engineering and analytics teams.Key Responsibilities:Snowflake Platform Administration· Administer Snowflake accounts, warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, RBAC, resource monitors, and storage/compute configurations.· Manage warehouse sizing, auto-suspend/resume, clustering, and performance optimization.· Implement and enforce Snowflake data governance, retention policies, and lifecycle management.Required Skills & Qualifications· Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.· 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake administration in enterprise environments.· Strong expertise in Snowflake performance tuning, RBAC, warehouse management, and cost optimization.· Experience integrating Snowflake with AWS services such as S3, IAM, EC2, Lambda.· Working knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, CloudWatch, Snowflake Account Usage views).· Understanding of data modelling, ELT/ETL best practices, and modern data architectures.· Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, Git or similar enterprise tooling.
