Job Summary: We are seeking a seasonedTest Manager Manual & Automation Testingwith strong experience inFinacle 10Xto lead our Quality Assurance team. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in manual & automation testing processes, team management and to be able to handle the project at program level. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with development, product, and business teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions in a banking environment. Key Responsibilities: Test Strategy & Planning Develop and implement comprehensive manual testing strategies and test plans. Design test cases aligned with functional, business, and system requirements. Define and maintain test schedules, resource planning, and test cycles. Team Leadership & Management Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manual testers. Allocate tasks, monitor team performance, and provide regular feedback. Facilitate training and knowledge sharing to uplift team competency. Coordination & Communication Work closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure test alignment. Communicate test progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely manner. Test Execution & Quality Assurance Ensure thorough test coverage, execute manual test cases, and report test results. Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar. Drive root cause analysis and collaborate with the development team for quick resolutions. Compliance & Standards Ensure adherence to QA best practices, regulatory and compliance standards relevant to the banking sector. Maintain test documentation, traceability matrices, and test evidence for audit purposes. Continuous Improvement Monitor and improve QA processes, methodologies, and tools for better efficiency. Conduct retrospectives and implement process improvements based on feedback and testing outcomes. Test Environment & Data Management Oversee the setup and maintenance of test environments. Manage test data creation and maintenance to support different test scenarios. Must-Have Skills: Knowledge inFinacle 10.2.25 Proven experience in managing manual & automation testing teams in the banking/financial services domain. Expertise in defining and executing manual & automation test plans and strategies. Proficiency in defect management and test management tools (e.G., JIRA, HP ALM, TestLink). Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. ISTQB or equivalent QA certification. Exposure to regulatory compliance and QA governance in banking projects. Experience in agile and waterfall project methodologies.
