Title: GCP Cloud Developer/EngineerLocation: 100% RemoteJob Type: ContractSummary:The GCP Cloud Developer will support enterprise application migrations from on-premise environments to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves reviewing application architectures, advising on cloud best practices, and actively removing technical blockers to ensure smooth migration and modernization.Key Responsibilities:Architecture Review: Assess existing application architectures and recommend GCP-native designs for scalability, security, and cost optimization.Migration Support: Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute migration strategies, including rehosting, refactoring, and replatforming.Best Practices Guidance: Provide expertise on GCP services, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and security compliance.Blocker Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve migration challenges related to networking, identity management, data transfer, and application dependencies.Collaboration: Work closely with architects, developers, and operations teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and governance.Documentation: Maintain migration playbooks, architecture diagrams, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.Required Skill:Strong knowledge of GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, etc.).Experience with application migration strategies and tools.Proficiency in Terraform or similar IaC tools.Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices.Ability to identify and remediate technical blockers quickly.ThanksAatmeshaatmesh.singh@
