Position Overview Vedika Metals is seeking an experienced Retired HR Professional to join as a Part-Time HR Consultant . The ideal candidate will bring extensive HR leadership experience and help the company streamline its people processes, establish clear policies, and build a strong organisational foundation. This role is ideal for a retired HR Manager/Head who is looking for flexible engagement while contributing their expertise to a growing organisation. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Hiring Support end-to-end hiring for key positions. Develop structured interview and selection processes. Guide management in workforce planning and manpower forecasting. Policy Review & Formulation Review, update, and finalise all HR policies (e.g., leave, increment/ appraisal, discipline, attendance, travel, code of conduct). Ensure policies are aligned with best practices and statutory requirements. Performance Management & KPIs Define KRAs/KPIs for various roles across the organisation. Assist in setting up appraisal processes and performance evaluation methods. Organisation Structure & HR Systems Develop or refine the organisational structure and reporting hierarchy. Recommend improvements to HR processes, documentation, and compliance. Advisory & Support Guide management and staff on HR best practices. Support annual increments, disciplinary matters, and key employee decisions. Work Schedule Initial Phase: Approx. 2–3 office visits per week (to establish systems and complete policy formulation). Ongoing Basis: Ad-hoc visits as required during critical periods such as hiring drives, increments/appraisals, or policy reviews. Required Experience & Qualifications Retired HR professional with 15+ years of experience in HR Management, preferably in manufacturing, trading, or related sectors. Strong knowledge of HR policies, labour laws, organisational development, and performance management. Experience in setting up HR systems and working directly with senior management. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and advisory skills. Ability to work independently with a practical, hands-on approach. Compensation Flexible and will be discussed based on experience and time commitment. Engagement will be on a part-time consultancy basis .
