Job Description

Role OverviewThe Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of Solar PV Modules in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segment across the Madhya Pradesh region. The role involves new customer acquisition, channel development, key account management, and achieving sales targets while ensuring strong market presence.Key Responsibilities:1. Business Development & Sales- Identify, develop, and close business opportunities for Solar PV Modules in the C&I market. - Generate leads through EPCs, developers, industrial clients, distributors, and institutional buyers. - Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.2. Market & Customer Management- Build strong relationships with EPC partners, solar developers, industrial customers, and distributors. - Conduct customer meetings, product presentations, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations. - Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and customer database.3. Technical & Product Knowledge- Understand module specifications: Mono/Poly, Mono PERC, Half-cut, Bifacial, TOPCon, etc. - Coordinate with the technical team for product sizing, certifications, quality queries, and after-sales support.4. Commercial Activities- Prepare proposals, quotations, and techno-commercial offers. - Support customers in documentation, order booking, delivery planning, and payment collection. - Monitor pricing competition, market trends, and competitor activities.5. Coordination & Reporting- Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and operations for dispatch planning. - Provide weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence. - Participate in exhibitions, roadshows, and industry networking events.
