They work closely with development, product, and operations teams to identify defects, prevent quality issues, and maintain compliance with organizational and industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance (QA)• Develop, review, and execute test cases.• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira.• Ensure adherence to QA processes, test strategies, and best practices.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and ensure testability.• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives). Quality Control (QC)• Inspect and verify product quality against defined standards and specifications.• Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) for defects.• Monitor production/implementation processes to ensure consistency and accuracy.• Maintain quality documentation, reports, and audit records.Technical Skills• Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC processes.• Expertise in manual testing and familiarity with automation.Soft Skills• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to defect detection.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.Education & Experience• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.• 4+ years of experience in QA/QC roles.• Certifications like ISTQB.
