Job Description: SAP Finance Data & Analytics ConsultantLocation: IndiaExperience 8-10 yearsOverviewSeeking an experienced SAP Finance professional with deep expertise in SAP financial data structures and the ability to design scalable data models that enable advanced analytics, reporting, and downstream insights. This role will partner with Finance, Data, and Technology teams to ensure high-quality data foundations and optimized reporting capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and optimization of SAP Finance data models to support analytics, reporting, and operational use cases.Analyze existing SAP Finance modules (e.g., FI, CO, AP, AR, GL, Asset Accounting) to understand data structures, integrations, and transformation requirements.Translate Finance functional processes into reliable data architectures and semantic layers for BI, analytics platforms, and data warehouses.Define data extraction, mapping, and harmonization logic across SAP and non-SAP sources.Collaborate with data engineering teams to implement scalable data pipelines supporting Finance KPIs, dashboards, and forecasting models.Ensure data quality, consistency, lineage, and governance across Finance datasets.Support Finance stakeholders in developing enhanced reporting frameworks and advanced analytics capabilities.Provide best-practice recommendations on SAP Finance data modeling, performance optimization, and architecture standards.Required QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with SAP Finance modules and underlying data structures.Proven background designing robust, scalable Finance data models for analytics and reporting.Experience with SAP tables, extractors, CDS views, or equivalent SAP data access methods.Familiarity with Finance processes such as general ledger, controlling, accounts payable/receivable, and financial close.Experience collaborating with data engineering teams and contributing to data architecture decisions.Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert business requirements into technical data models.Excellent communication skills for working with Finance and technical stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsExperience with SAP S/4HANA Finance data structures.Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and modern analytics tools.Understanding of master data governance, data quality frameworks, and Finance reporting best practices.
