Qualification and Experience- MBA or Master’s in related field with over 15 years of professional experience in Livelihood sector, Enterprise Development, Banking/ Rural finance/ Agricultural finance. - Proven track record of working with International Development Organizations in livelihood sector. - Strong understanding of community level farm and non-farm enterprises, credit systems, and inclusive finance models. - Experience in donor-funded development projects (World Bank, IFAD, FAO, USAID, etc.) preferred. - Experience of working in Assam will be an added advantageSkills:- Ability to synthesize data, form coherent outputs, and develop strategies for sustainable development. - Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and communicate complex business concepts. - Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, inspiring others, and managing multi-stakeholder partnerships. - Hands-on experience in developing and delivering training programs in developing country contexts. - Ability to adapt to changing contexts and shifting priorities.Scope of Work- Overall planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the project. Coordinate activities, ensuring timely and effective project management. - Oversee day-to-day management and implementation of enterprise development activities. - Design and conduct training programs and tools, including train-the-trainer programs for sustainability. - Conduct assessments to identify viable livelihood opportunities, analyze community needs and market feasibility for enterprise development. - Develop and deliver training modules on business planning, strategic planning, and entrepreneurship skills. - Provide technical assistance to entrepreneurs and community-based organizations. - Facilitate entrepreneurship coaching and mentoring services. - Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, business organizations, research institutions, and private sector entities. - Develop and maintain a database of partners and networks for capacity building. - Build linkages and coordinate with relevant local, national, and multilateral agencies. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of livelihood programs and interventions. - Conduct participatory monitoring and data collection. - Prepare regular reports on program implementation, progress, and impact. - Conduct research and analysis on livelihood-related issues and share findings. - Contribute to knowledge building efforts, developing briefs and presentations on topics like women's economic empowerment.
