STEM Raters for GenAI Data – Job Description Role Overview This is a Freelance, Remote role. As a STEM Rater for Maths / Physics / Chemistry / Biology / Coding / Finance , you will play a key role in developing and improving AI learning systems. You will evaluate and refine high-quality STEM content to ensure AI responses are accurate, well-structured, and easy for learners to understand. Key Responsibilities 1️⃣ Data Creation & Content Quality Create accurate step-by-step solutions and clear explanations for STEM questions across difficulty levels. Ensure content follows quality rubrics, style guidelines, and strong pedagogy. Highlight conceptual reasoning and address common misconceptions. 2️⃣ AI Response Review Assess AI-generated answers for correctness, clarity, and reasoning quality. Provide constructive, actionable feedback to enhance model performance. Contribute to building benchmark datasets and “ground truth” responses. 3️⃣ Subject Expertise Use strong academic fundamentals aligned with JEE (Mains + Advanced) and top Indian undergraduate standards. Suggest alternative solving approaches when applicable. 4️⃣ Collaboration Coordinate with STEM Leads and fellow raters to ensure consistency. Follow defined workflows, report blockers proactively, and meet timelines. Required Qualifications B.Tech graduate from any IIT (Mandatory) JEE Advanced qualification is mandatory Strong conceptual understanding in relevant STEM subject Excellent written communication skills Teaching / tutoring / content development experience is a plus Preferred Qualifications Experience coaching students for JEE/NEET/GATE or similar competitive exams Ability to create advanced/original problems (Olympiad or JEE Advanced level) Experience working with AI/LLM systems or structured feedback formats Personal Skills Detail-oriented and quality-focused Strong explanation skills and learner-first mindset Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving ability Self-driven, organized, and efficient in remote settings Tech-savvy and comfortable using Google Workspace and new tools If you are interested share your cv to
