Work you’ll do In our team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You’ll: You’ll be responsible for the valuation of complex financial instruments and handing reserving issues, assessing, and proposing changes to valuation methodologies and compliance statements In this crucial role, you’ll own, supervise and ensure the delivery of daily and monthly Independent Price Verification (IPV) activities for the bank We’ll look at you to support project and process improvement initiatives, collaborate with management in the review and challenge of team output. You’ll be responsible for building and reviewing valuation methodologies to ensure accuracy and consistency, as well as for mentoring and managing work from sub-teams and active stakeholder engagement. Supervising financial instrument valuation, PruVal, bid-offer reserving and other financial reporting in line with business requirements Addressing valuation limitations through reserve or valuation adjustment calculations Regularly meeting with business analysts for IPV changes and automations, including engaging with the Enterprise Solutions team Coordinating the resolution of all non-standard queries and supporting the resolution of complex queries on processes and methodologies Continuously focusing on the improvements, and enhancing existing valuation control solutions, including reviewing independent pricing processes and tools, assessing potential coverage developments, and implementing solutions to enhance control efficacy Proven experience working with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform. Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP) and integration techniques. Hands-on experience in harvesting metadata from various sources (databases, data warehouses, cloud platforms, etc.) into Collibra. Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Groovy) for automation and custom connector development. Familiarity with data governance, data lineage, and metadata management concepts. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills Qualifications Collibra certification(s) (e.g., Collibra Ranger, Collibra Steward). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
