This role suits someone who is comfortable working directly with leadership, managing month end work, and keeping financials clean and organized. We need someone who can join immediately.ResponsibilitiesRun month end close including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statementsReview bookkeeping across AP, AR, payroll entries, and clean up workPrepare and review federal and state tax filings and supporting schedulesMaintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, and documentationCoordinate with auditors and prepare audit ready reportsAdvise leadership on tax planning, compliance, and financial controlsBuild and refine accounting processes to improve accuracy and speedPrepare cash flow reports, forecasts, and budget comparisonsRequirementsActive CPA license3 to 7 years experience in public accounting or in house financeStrong knowledge of US GAAP and tax rulesHands on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platformsAbility to work independently and communicate clearlyExperience with multistate filings is a plusMust be available to join immediatelyGood to haveExperience with tools like Gusto, BILL, Ramp, Dext, or NetsuiteBackground in real estate, ecommerce, or professional servicesExperience fixing messy books or handling first time audits
