Job Description

Job Description- Designer Key Responsibilities ∙Create designs and layouts that are print-ready, adhering to correct bleed, safe-zone, and trim specifications. ∙Set up print files correctly manage colour profiles (CMYK / spot), overprint settings, font embedding/outlining, appropriate resolution, and other prepress requirements. ∙Prepare and troubleshoot print-ready PDFs and other deliverables: check for resolution issues, font problems, incorrect colour spaces, transparency, overprint issues, etc. ∙Understand and make design decisions based on print production processes selecting appropriate paper stock, page sizes, finishes, folding/binding options, etc. Ensure designs are manufacturable. ∙Interpret client briefs and brand guidelines accurately to produce consistent and on-brand print materials (brochures, flyers, magazines, packaging artwork, catalogues, posters, etc.). ∙Perform quality control careful review of artwork before submission to press to minimize errors. ∙Work primarily in design software: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent) with workflows optimized for print output. ∙Liaise with vendors/print houses when required to clarify specifications, get proofs, and ensure final output meets expectations. ∙Manage revisions and feedback from clients or internal teams in a timely manner. ∙Maintain organised file management system and version control for all design assets. Required Skills & Qualifications ∙Proven experience in print-ready/prepress design and print production work. ∙Strong command over bleed, safe zones, trim, crop marks, registration marks, colour profiles (CMYK, spot), overprints, font embedding/outlines, resolution/ppi, etc. ∙Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop (or equivalents), with solid understanding of print workflows. ∙Good understanding of different paper stocks, finishes, binding/folding/packaging processes what works in print and what doesn’t.  ∙Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous, quality-control mindset. ∙Ability to read and interpret briefs/brand guidelines and translate them into accurate print-ready artwork. ∙Good communication skills to interact with clients, production houses, and internal stakeholders. ∙Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and handle feedback/revisions gracefully.US shiftSalary- 4-4.5 LPA
