These roles are critical to ensuring uninterrupted production through robust sourcing, cost control, and supplier management. Selected candidates must be open to relocating to Oman.Open PositionsPurchase Manager – MSM (Muscat) | 1 PositionPurchase Assistant – MSM (Muscat) | 1 PositionPurchase Assistant – MSRM (Buraimi) | 1 PositionRole OverviewThese roles will manage and support end-to-end procurement of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and services essential to steel manufacturing operations. The focus is on supplier coordination, commercial negotiations, ERP-driven purchasing, and cross-functional collaboration with production, warehouse, logistics, quality, and finance teams.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle procurement of steel raw materials (scrap, ferroalloys), consumables, spares, and industrial suppliesSource, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliersPrepare RFQs, purchase orders, and maintain accurate ERP documentationTrack deliveries, manage follow-ups, and mitigate supply delaysEnsure compliance with company policies, Oman regulations, import/export procedures, and IncotermsMonitor market trends, control costs, and support continuous improvement in procurement efficiencyBuild and maintain strong supplier relationships and performance metricsCandidate ProfileBachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related fieldPurchase Manager: 10+ years of procurement experience, preferably within steel or heavy manufacturingPurchase Assistant: 5+ years of procurement experience (steel sector exposure strongly preferred)Strong negotiation, coordination, and analytical skillsHands-on experience with ERP systems and solid MS Office proficiencyAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with multiple stakeholdersLocation: Muscat & Buraimi, OmanRelocation to Oman is mandatoryIf you bring hands-on procurement experience from the steel or industrial manufacturing sector and are ready to take on a regional opportunity, we’d like to connect.
