Job Title: Territory Manager – Self-Employment Program for PwDs Department: Programmatic Location: Hyderabad, Sangareddy and Mahboobnagar Position Overview The Territory Manager will lead the implementation of the Self-Employment Program for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) within an assigned territory. The role focuses on outreach, enterprise development, credit facilitation, field mentoring, and ensuring sustainable business outcomes for PwD entrepreneurs. This position is ideal for individuals who can balance strong community engagement with practical business development support. Key Responsibilities 1. Outreach & Mobilization Engage with disability organizations, DRDOs, community groups, and local networks to identify eligible PwD candidates. Conduct orientation and awareness sessions on self-employment opportunities. 2. Candidate Screening & Enterprise Planning Assess skills, entrepreneurial readiness, and support needs of candidates as per program criteria. Guide candidates in selecting viable business opportunities and preparing business plans and feasibility assessments. 3. Capacity Building & Training Facilitate entrepreneurship, financial literacy, bookkeeping, marketing, digital usage, and customer service training sessions. 4. Credit & Market Linkages Liaise with banks, MFIs, and government schemes to secure credit for eligible candidates. Build and strengthen connections with wholesalers, retailers, aggregators, and local markets to improve market access. Facilitate procurement and buy-back linkages where applicable. 5. Mentoring & Field Support Provide ongoing on-ground support to PwD entrepreneurs after business initiation. Help troubleshoot operational challenges and coach them on business stability, growth, and customer acquisition. Track sales, cash flow, and performance indicators to guide improvements. 6. Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate beneficiary records, training logs, credit linkage data, and enterprise progress reports. Analyse field data to assess program outcomes and recommend enhancements. Prepare periodic updates and reports for management and funding partners. Document and share success stories to highlight program impact. 7. Team Guidance Support field teams with mobilisation, training coordination, and enterprise facilitation. Conduct periodic reviews and provide feedback to ensure program quality and timely achievement of deliverables. Functional Competencies Community mobilization and stakeholder networking. Ability to mentor nano and micro-entrepreneurs. Understanding of credit processes, market systems, and retail supply chains. Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Excel) and smartphone-based digital skills. Ability to communicate via email and digital platforms.
