Odoo Functional ConsultantWe are looking for an Odoo Functional Consultant to analyze business processes, configure Odoo ERP, and ensure successful implementation for small and medium businesses. The consultant will act as a bridge between business users and the technical team, focusing on functional configuration rather than core development.1. Business Process Analysis- Understand client business workflows (Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, HR) - Map existing processes to standard Odoo modules - Identify gaps and propose Odoo-based solutions2. Odoo Functional Configuration- Configure Odoo modules: - Accounting (GL, AR, AP, Taxes) - Sales & Purchase - Inventory - CRM (optional) - Setup: - Chart of Accounts - Taxes (GST/VAT) - Fiscal positions - Journals & payment terms - Manage multi-company and multi-currency setups3. Accounting & Compliance- Ensure correct accounting entries and automated postings - Validate financial reports: - Trial Balance - Profit & Loss - Balance Sheet - Ensure local tax compliance (GST/VAT/TDS as applicable)4. User Training & Support- Conduct user training sessions - Create functional documentation & user manuals - Support UAT and go-live activities - Provide post-implementation support5. Requirement Documentation- Prepare: - Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) - Business process flows - Gap analysis documents - Coordinate with technical consultants for customizationsTechnical / System Responsibilities(Functional + basic technical understanding)- Perform Odoo configuration (no heavy coding) - Write clear functional specs for developers - Test custom modules and integrations - Basic understanding of: - Odoo models & workflows - XML views - Security & access rights - Support data migration (masters & opening balances)Required Skills & QualificationsMust Have- 2–5 years experience as Odoo Functional Consultant - Strong knowledge of Odoo Accounting - Experience in ERP implementations - Understanding of business & accounting processes - Client-facing communication skills
